Brake Repair Services

At Egolf, we offer a variety of brake services to keep your car’s brakes in good shape.

While it may be obvious that it's time for a brake inspection, sometimes it's unclear. Here, we have included some common symptoms of brake problems.

Warning signs your brakes may need inspection and/or replacement

Unusual noises

The most obvious indication that your brakes need servicing is probably the making of unusual noises. High-pitched squeals, soft ticking, loud clicks, deep rumbles, and grinding sounds are all nosies that should not be ignored. All these sounds are indicators of problems in the car’s braking system. The noises may occur due to a loss of brake fluid due to leakage, worn out brake pads, or scored rotors. If you encounter any of these, please bring in your car for a complete inspection.

Pulling

If you find that your vehicle is pulling to one side while applying breaks, it may indicate misadjusted brakes or that your brakes are in need of repair. It's important not to ignore this problem, your car needs to be checked by an auto technician to identify and fix the issue.

Brake Warning Lights

When the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) warning light on the dashboard lights up, it may means the car is running on low brake fluid. Low fluid means that there may be a leak somewhere in your brake lines. To avoid any mishap, get this checked as soon as possible.

Vibrations

A variety of reasons can cause vibrations that occur while apprying the brakes. Do not ignore this problem, it may be a simple replacement brake pads or rotor. However, only after a detailed inspection you can learn the root cause of the vibrations when applying brakes.

Pedal vibration could also indicate misaligned wheels.

Pedal Problems

If you notice that your brake pedal sinks to the floor while being pressed, it could be the result of a leak in the braking system, i.e. loss of brake fluid.

If you notice extreme touchniess when applying the brakes, that could also mean for braking problems. This could indicate a problem with an unevenly worn rotor/brake shoe, dirty brake fluid, or low brake fluids. In any case, please bring in your vehicle to get it inspected by our experienced technicians.
